Happy Tuesday

I'm late, I'm late...I know. Sorry. I usually get my post up first thing in the morning but things have been crazy around here. Then with the sunshine and nice weather...well it was calling to me to get my butt out of my computer chair and outside for some fresh air and warm sunshine! Ahh...it feels nice.

Now besides nice weather, I've got something else to be happy about. My Amazon "Breeds" order FINALLY GOT HERE! *jumping up and down*

I got "Wolf at the Door" (The Others, Bk #1) by Christine Warren, "Megan's Mark" (The Breeds, Bk#1) by Lora Leigh, "Soul Deep" (Coyote Breed Bk#1) by Lora Leigh, "Tempting the Beast" (Feline Breeds, Bk#1) by Lora Leigh, and outside all these breeds book I also got "Rogue" by Cheryl Brooks (can't wait!), and "Stranded" by Eve Vaughn (another menage).

I am so happy these finally got here! I don't know when I am going to get a moment today to read them, but I am going to try. I still haven't finished my current book and it's not because it's not good it's because I've been so busy and life has been distracting me more than usual lately.

Well, that's it for me today, I'll leave you with some hunks... :o)

Monday's offering

I don't have any review ready - shame on me. I just never got much time to read yesterday. It was a perfect rainy day for reading, but life kept interrupting me! Everyone and their cousin called me yesterday or stopped by! Not that I don't like chatting, I do! But I had my rainy day all planned out - me, a hot romance book and several Dove chocolates!

What I did find time to do, was locate a few more hunks for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. ;o)

***One more thing!***

Sunday Ramblings, Humor and Hunks- of course

It's a nice rainy day today, the perfect day to curl up with a good book and that is what I am doing. I am almost finished with another Lora Leigh menage book ... is it April yet? *grins* I've read so many menage books for March Menage Month I am beginning to get concerned my mind is warping because some are beginning to sense to me! Yikes!

I have so many good books waiting for me to read in my TBR pile that I just don't know what to pick up next! Should I go with a historical? Paranormal? Finish out the erotic menages I've got left? Or start a new series? I wish I had two heads and four arms so I could read two at the same time! :o)

Today's humor...

At the card shop: A woman was spending a long time looking at the cards, finally shaking her head, "No." A clerk came over and asked, "May I help you?" "I don't know," said the woman. "Do you have any 'Sorry I laughed at your dick' cards?"

Rich man and a poor man have the same wedding anniversary. They're both at Madison Avenue shopping for their wives. Poor man says to the Rich man, "What'd you get your wife this year?" He says, "A Mercedes and a huge diamond ring." The poor man says, "Why'd you get her both?" The Rich man says, "If she doesn't like the ring, she can take it back happy." The Poor man says, "O.K. That works." The Rich man says, "Well what did you get your wife?" The Poor man says, "A pair of slippers and a dildo." The Rich man says, "Why'd you get her a pair of slippers and a dildo?" The Poor man says, "If she doesn't like the slippers, she can go fuck herself!"

"Mom, may I take the dog for a walk around the block?" a little girl asked. "No, I don't think so. Fifi is in heat," replied the mother. "What does that mean?" asked the child. Embarrassed and not wanting to get into a biological discussion with her young daughter, the Mother said, "Oh, just go ask your father. I think he is in the garage."
The little girl goes to the garage and says, "Dad, may I take Fifi for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said that Fifi was in heat, and that I had to come talk to you." Not wanting to have the biological discussion either, the father said, "Bring Fifi over here."

He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog's rear end with it. "Okay, now you can go for a walk but keep Fifi on the leash and you can only go around the block once."The little girl left, and returned a few minutes later with NO DOG on the leash. "Where is Fifi?" her father asked.
"She should be here in a minute," advised the daughter. "She ran out of gas about halfway down the block and another dog is pushing her home."

This Saturday keeps getting better!

Today has been crazy busy but also full of nice surprises! Barbara, guess what I got today? If you guessed "The Bargain" by Julia Templeton you'd be right! But that wasn't all! Amazon managed to send me more books (still not my March 15th "Breeds" order I am dying for) from one of my orders (I've got so many now it's hard to keep track!).

Here's what I got from Amazon today "A Hunger Like No Other" & "No Rest for the Wicked" by Kresley Cole. So many of you have enjoyed this "Immortals After Dark" series that I decided to give them a try. Then because Lea and others have mentioned how much they enjoy Lauren Dane's books I got "Cascadia Wolves: Wolf Unbound".

But the goodies don't stop there! I went shopping ONLY for an 11 year old's birthday present and made a pathetic detour in Target's book section and came out with "My Man Michael" by Lori Foster for 25% off the publisher price!

Ahh...I just love Saturdays like this! And because I was so happy I decide to add just one more hunk (besides Bubble Bath Man) to my blog today....

Happy Saturday!

No book reviews ready yet, I might have one ready for later, but I am not quite finished with it and I have a ton to do today. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Today's hunks...

"Warrior" by Cheryl Brooks

Last night I finished the second book in the Cat Star Chronicles series and loved it! ' Warrior' by Cheryl Brooks continues the futuristic romance space story of what happened to the Zetithian men (and their famous penises) who were sold into slavery after their planet was destroyed (probably from other jealous males who wished they had penises like the Zetithian men have- hell I wish earth men had such penises!). The hero's of this series are SO sexy, loyal, passionate and fearless they actually make you sigh! I actually caught myself sighing over these guys- and panting over their penises- REALLY ladies, if for no other reason read the series for the penises! *grins*
This story begins with the heroine, a witch named Tisana living a rather lonely existence on a planet that seems similar to earth in many ways only without our current technology. More like days gone by, when we could still function without electricity, computers, cars etc.
One snowy day Tisana the good healing witch receives a visit from one of her ex-lovers Rafe. Rafe has brought a near dead slave to her for healing. After Rafe dumps the near dead body on the floor and leaves, Tisana sets to work trying to save the slaves life. While she bathes him and puts ointment on his wounds she discovers the wonder penis! *takes deep calming breath*
If you didn't read my previous review for "Slave" (good book) and have no idea just what this wonder penis is like or for those of you like me who just like the reminder, here it is. Zetithian men have large penises that when aroused the penis head puts out "a wide corona with a scalloped edge" and on that wide corona are star-like points that ooze a lubricating fluid. This fluid when tasted or rubbed on a woman's nether region gives them mind blowing orgasms- and that's before he even gets inside her! *fans self*
OK, so Tisana is cleaning up this slave, the slave begins to purr (oh dear heaven I love when these men purr!) and she is shocked by his strange penis when all the sudden her touch turns him on and his wonder penis stands to salute and rub it's self (it moves at will!) against her. It then begins to ooze his mind blowing love fluid while he purrs louder. The purring slave wakes up and tells her his name is Leccarian Banadansk- that's a mouthful for her, so she decides to call him 'Leo' because of his cat like characteristics and he tells her he doesn't mind as long as she keeps touching him. She continues cleaning him up and tending his wounds while he continues to purr and ooze his orgasm fluid all over the place. She asks him if he wants her to stop-and like all aroused males he gives her that "are you crazy?" look and goes back to purring and oozing his love juice. The startled but not stupid Tisana gives in to temptation by going down on the purring slave to taste his love juice and BAM! she has a rocketing orgasm. He purrs louder and tells her not to stop so she doesn't.
Tisana is thrilled and after countless other orgasms she passes out in clueless bliss only to wake and find that Leo has escaped. He doesn't get far in the bad weather and she manages to drag his near frozen sexy butt back to her cottage. When she explains that he is safe with her for at least a month (the time given by his newest master to get well) he promises not to runaway again and instead sets out to make love to Tisana as often as possible. Leo is an opportunist and being a slave doesn't get sex very often so he wants to enjoy what time he has with the beautiful and sexy witch who arouses him. Tisana is good with that plan, she hasn't had a lover in a long while and she's still waiting to find "the one" who will father a child on her. The witches on Tisana's world never marry and only give birth to one female child and only one male is destined to father a witches child. Tisana has taken several lovers but so far none have given her the child she longs for.
For weeks Leo and Tisana make love and enjoy each other, then Rafe shows up before the month is out and asks Tisana to help him. His two sons have been taken and he needs the slave and Tisana to help him get his sons back. Tisana isn't just a healing witch, she's got other powers that she keeps hidden for fear the towns people will burn her on a stake if they knew she could shoot balls of fire and talk to animals with her mind. But these powers come in handy while going after Rafe's sons. Here is where Cheryl Brooks humor gets me and keeps me. In other fantasy stories if an animal began talking with its mind to a human I would toss the book - just to nursery/children's fairytalish for me. But Cheryl Brooks gives her characters saucy and sassy attitudes, meshes that with sexuality and then tops it off with enduring qualities like loyalty and undying love and it hooks me! I love the attitudes and dry wit humor found in her books. The one line zingers have me laughing out loud. Some people may not appreciate this, but I adore it and it works for me.
So these three and several animals take off on an action packed adventure to find and rescue Rafe's sons and return them home. There are assorted bizarre otherworldly creatures along the way and earth creatures (horses, squirrels, dogs, vultures etc) that all play a role in the outcome of the adventure. There is love lost, love gained, betrayal, sex, sensuality, action, humor, death, life and more in this book.
Leo and Tisana are great together- Leo is handsome and loyal and oh so sensual, he's downright delicious! These two have a very happy ending and it links up to the first book so be sure to read "Slave" first so you know who's who and what's what!
I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really like this series a lot!

Happy Friday!

Wahooey it's Friday! I am so glad it's Friday, this has been one of those long dragged out none too pleasant weeks with the exception of getting my contest goodies from Barbara's contest (author Samantha Sommersby). Thanks again to Barbara and Samantha Sommersby!

The other exception to a rather blah week was Amazon managing to get one book to me from my book order. I finished reading 'Warrior: The Cat Star Chronicles' (book #2) by Cheryl Brooks last night and I will be getting that review up some time today. I will say that I am REALLY enjoying this series and that says a lot because I have a very difficult time with fantasy type (space travel/romance) books, but this series totally sucks me in. I can't wait for "Rogue" to get here.

Now I've got to do my weekly running around then I will work on my review and catch up on every one's blogs! Have a great weekend everyone!

Here's today's hunks...

"Marly's Choice" by Lora Leigh

OK, I finished another menage story for March Menage Month (is it April yet?- my mind is befuddled with menage orgies). "Marly's Choice" by Lora Leigh is about Cade, Brock and Sam August (I believe this is the kick off book to all the "August" men books).

Back Blurb: "Marly's love for Cade has spanned her teenage years, and survived strong and intact into womanhood. Her fantasies and daydreams have sustained her, but she's no longer content with merely imagining the touch of his hands, the taste of his kiss. It's time to seduce the tough, sexy cowboy.
She's heard the rumors for years, the tales of his sexual preferences. She's prepared herself to accept his desires. Prepared her body for his touch. But she wasn't prepared for the choice to come...
Cade's dark desires, his sexual excesses are based in the past. In a time when pain, shame, and blood stains his very soul. He carries a secret shared only with his brothers. A secret that has scarred the bond, the ability to be a brother or to accept the love of the men he was raised with. He knows the only way to prove his loyalty, his love for those brothers and Marly will be the key.
She has a choice. She can surrender to Cade's needs, his soul deep desires, or she can walk away. A choice only Marly can make. A choice that will change her life forever
."

---

The book starts off with Marly being home for two weeks from college. Her home is with the three men who took her in when she needed a safe home as a child trying to get away from her molesting stepfather. She's had a crush on all the brothers since she was a teen, but it was Cade who stole her heart long ago. Now that she's home and twenty-one years old she is determined that Cade see her as a woman and not as a young family member putting her in the role of little sister or niece as he's done in the past.

Cade is well aware Marly is a woman and he spends all his time fighting the raging arousal's she gives him. This is not easy when Marly wears clothes meant to tempt a man beyond endurance or showing him her bellybutton ring and sexy tiny gold chain circling her waist. Cade hasn't had sex in two years - since Marly walked in on him with another woman just before she left for college- and he's near the breaking point wanting her, but fighting it for a few reasons. First, he raised her and he feels like some sicko wanting her even though there is no blood relationship. Secondly, Cade has a dark sexual side because he was sexually abused in his childhood and its made him a "monster" in his opinion. Cade is a ruthless dominant sexual male who loses his mind during sex if the word "no" is uttered by the female - it spurs him on and he won't stop. He's afraid Marly will say "no" to something sexual and he will not stop- not even for her. Also, he shares his women with his brothers and Cade is terrified that if he approaches Marly with this side of himself she will bolt and never return. Cade's got a lot of issues.

Marly has heard the rumors about Cade's sexual history and over the years she's come to accept it and prepare herself for him (butt plugs, dildo's etc.). When she comes home, she's not holding back but going after Cade full force. Cade fights it for a while, gives in a bit then pulls back again knowing he is more than Marly can handle after she tells him she's a virgin and saving herself for him.

My thoughts on this (like my last review) are all over the place. First, the first half of the book the sexual tension was SMOKIN' HOT and a page turner. Marly and Cade are sizzling together and I couldn't wait for Marly to wear down Cade's walls and get him to admit his feelings for her. And the brothers were sexy hot as well. The subplot with someone stalking Marly added to the story and brought out all the protective instincts in the men. Great stuff.

What I didn't care for was that Sam and Brock saw her as a little sister yet still wanted to screw her, Sam even calls her "Little Sister" then the next day goes down on her. This bothered me even though I knew they weren't blood related. Also, Cade was an extreme Dom and while the book is called 'Marly's Choice', Marly really didn't have a choice because 'no' would only make Cade continue and Marly could not stop him. While Marly ended up loving it all, she did say 'no' often and Cade did not stop because "he knew better what she would like". This rubbed me the wrong way- 'no' means no. And the last thing that bothered me was near the end Cade's final sexual demand is made- Marly must make love with a woman while he and his brothers watch her. Marly flips out and puts her foot down so it doesn't happen. I do not want to read romances novels with women doing women- not my cut of tea at all and it takes away from the story completely for me. I was near ready to toss the book if Marly went through with it to please Cade. I felt like Marly was losing herself trying to please Cade sexually when all she wanted was the man she had loved for years. I felt bad for her and for him because the sexual abuse he suffered as a kid made him need these things- they disgusted him as much as turned him on. He felt like a created monster and not a natural man with normal sexual needs. It was kind of sad actually that these people didn't do these things because it was natural to them or even what they really wanted but because of what their pasts had created in them forming these unnatural sexual needs.

So the book had romance, smokin' hot sex, sexy guys, a great heroine, internal struggles and more, but because of the few issues that I found disturbing this is not one of my favorites by Lora Leigh. I give this book 3 out 5 stars.

"Be With Me" by Maya Banks

I've got another menage book review today in keeping with my March Menage Month theme. Today's book review is "Be With Me" by Maya Banks.

Blurb: "Hutch, Cam, and Sawyer were juvenile delinquents when they formed a friendship with the wealthy but lonely Regina. She felt loved for the first time in her life-by all three. Today she's a police officer and wary of resuming her relationship with the hot trio-until an attempt is made on her life. When they jump in to protect her, an all-new bond is formed, one riskier than ever before because now a killer looms in the shadows."
---
The book starts off with Regina "Reggie" nearly getting killed in the line of duty. When she ends up hospitalized three men from her past show up to care for her and woo her into a relationship with all three of them. The men are Cam, Hutch and Sawyer. The three guys were befriended by Reggie when they were foster kids with no real family but each other and Birdie the woman who took in foster kids. So these sexy men fell in love with her and refuse to make Reggie pick between them because they know she loves them all, so they concoct a plan to share her after one night of unplanned passion when they all make love. The next morning Reggie bolts and does her best for a year to avoid these men because she fears she will end up hurt one or all of them. That year of avoiding them is up when Reggie lands in the hospital, the men are tired of being put off and they want her.

Reggie can't believe they've come up with this sharing her plan and she doesn't trust it. She believes that jealousy will destroy the bond of friendship they've had for years, tearing them all apart. I takes a huge effort on the men's part to get Reggie to even consider such an arrangement, but while she is recovering from her injuries in the home the men built just for the four of them Reggie can't deny her desire for each one of these hot men.

For me, this book had it's ups and downs. First the good stuff. I loved the characters. The men were hot and each guy was very different from the other in personality and in looks. They all had their own issues, hang-ups and way of dealing with and approaching things. That was really great to see in this menage story. All the men were NOT on the same page in actions or how to handle things. All they really agreed on was loving Reggie, doing their best to make it work and never ever letting Reggie or Sawyer cook! :o) Another good for me was the mystery element, trying to figure out who the 'bad guy' was that had tried to kill Reggie. This added a great element to the story that many menage/erotic books don't pull off, Ms. Banks did it here.

The downside to this book for me was it was a bit slow going for the first few chapters. Also, because everyone was so iffy about the situation and no one was really convinced it was a good idea for three men to share one woman I kept feeling the same - a sense of doom almost. And I wasn't really supporting the situation, but rather hoping Reggie could pick one of the guys and that the others would find love somewhere else. That view stayed with me till nearly the last chapter. This was the first time reading a menage that I wasn't hoping it could all work out, but instead hoped for one guy with Reggie. But it did end well and everyone accepted the situation and they have their happily ever after.

I give this book 3.5 stars out of 5.

It's Hump Day!

Happy Hump day! I am happy today (great improvement from my fugly mood day yesterday). First, I got yet another email from Amazon (two actually) stating that they shipped my order yesterday! So to all of you who placed curses for fleas to infest Amazon workers pubic hairs, I thank you- it worked! *grin*

Then this morning I got one book from Amazon (they shipped this one early- apparently they heard the pubic hair flea curse being chanted). It's "Warrior" by Cheryl Brooks, and I am thrilled it's here!

I want to thank everyone again for all the great medieval book & author suggestions. My TBR pile is lacking in this area and I want to change that soon.

OK, now for the Hump day humor and hunks...

---(this next one, I have seen a Youtube video a female host saying something similar and everyone cracking up, but not leaving)

True Story... A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, "So Bob, where's that 6 inches you promised me last night?" Not only did he have to leave the set, but half the crew did too... they were laughing so hard.

---

They finally released the ingredients in Viagra! 3% Vitamin E, 2% Aspirin, 2% Ibuprofen, 1% Vitamin C, 5% Spray Starch, 87% Fix-A-Flat.

--- (ok, this one's bad...)

A man was having problems with premature ejaculation so he decided to go to the doctor. He asked the doctor what he could do to cure his problem. In response, the doctor said, "When you feel like you are getting ready to ejaculate, try startling yourself." That same day the man went to the store and bought himself a starter pistol. All excited to try this suggestion, he ran home to his wife. At home, he found his wife was in bed, naked and waiting. As the two began, they found themselves in the 69 position. The man, moments later, felt the sudden urge to ejaculate and fired the starter pistol. The next day, the man went back to the doctor. The doctor asked, "How did it go?" The man answered, "Not that well...when I fired the pistol, my wife peed in my face, bit 3 inches off my penis and my neighbour came out of the closet with his hands in the air!"

---

And today's hunks...

Oh goodness...they're just all so yummy aren't they? *grins*

Got any suggestions for me??

I'm looking for book suggestions. When I want to read a historical romance my favorite is medieval time era stuff (love dashing hulking knights who take over a castle then fall passionately in love with the fair lady of said castle).
My second favorite historical love is Scottish Highland historicals (any time period)- oh those men in kilts!
I started out in the romance genre with these from authors like Johanna Lindsey and Heather Graham and Jude Deveraux etc. Anyway, I've been missing reading these type of books. I've tried some, but none as good as these great ladies dished out in the 80's and 90's.
So, any suggestions? Any special book you loved or author you think I might enjoy? And as you probably already know, the steamier the better is how I like my romances. *grin* Thanks for any suggestions.

My fugly mood

Grrrr... I am ticked off and in a fugly mood today. First, my computer was all messed up this morning. My screen kept freezing up and I had to spend nearly half an hour with online tech support to fix it. Finally, I get that fixed and open my email to find a notice from Amazon.com that my order (placed on March 15th-when they said it was IN STOCK) will not be arriving till APRIL 10th!!!!!!!

What the #$%!*... grrrrrrrrrrrr. That was the order for all those Breed books by Lora Leigh and for the rest of Cheryl Brooks Cat Star Chr. series (7 books in total that I will not get till next month!).

Now I have another Amazon order that was placed on March 21st (my blogger friends do such good book reviews I keep buying more and more books!) and its any one's guess what month I might see those! I am tempted to cancel the Amazon order and just pay much more with B&N and get the books by this weekend. OK, I'm done with my ranting for now. To cheer myself up, I spent nearly an hour gazing at male hunkiness on GOOGLE Images *grins*

OK, so I am still ticked about Amazon and my book order...but now I'm hot and ticked. :o)

"At Love's Command" by Samantha Kane

The third book in the "Brother's in Arms" series by Samantha Kane is "At Love's Command" and it's the best of the series in my opinion. The story is about Ian Witherspoon, his male lover Derek Knightly and the woman who would become Ian's wife Sophia "Sophie" Middleton. What this book had that the others lacked was the background story of both hero's and the heroine, plus we see how everyone falls in love. The story starts off with Ian leaving his hot male lovers bed to go greet his soon to be wife Sophie after a twelve year betrothal.

Ian wants a wife for himself and Derek so they can have children and their own family- family is important to Ian as he grew up with a large one, but when Ian took a male lover that family shut him out and turned their backs on him. Derek had no such family feelings and does not want Ian to marry Sophie. Derek is totally in love with Ian and beside himself with worry that a wife will end things between Ian and Derek. While Derek is super hot and sexy he's also very vulnerable when it comes to his feelings for Ian whom he just adores beyond anything in life. Derek is dark, moody and sarcastic as well as a sucker for tears and hurt women who need defending.

Derek should not have worried about the marriage or Sophie. Sophie knows all about Ian's male lover and she fully supports the relationship. She does not want to come between the men at all, and she's hoping that Derek will keep Ian occupied in the bedroom so that Sophie doesn't have to once she gives Ian an heir. Sophie was viciously raped for years by her own older brother- a very twisted pervert who wants to keep Sophie for himself and his own pleasure. She was also beaten and bullied by her father all her life and knows nothing but brutality from men - until Ian. Ian lets her be in charge while he subtly shows her that there is pleasure in sex for a woman- something she was convinced could never happen. The sex is steamy hot with these two newlyweds, but it's engulfing flames when the two men have sex- and they have sex frequently.

There's no, ifs, ands or buts about it, Ian is a stud-muffin. This guy has more raging and instant hard-ons and gives more orgasms than anyone I've ever read in erotic/romance before! He spends hours making love to his male lover in a variety of ways until they should both be unconscious and bow-legged for life, then a few hours later he is pleasuring his wife till she's screaming from the rafters in ecstasy. Ian just can't get enough sex with either his sweet wife or his sexy and horny male lover. And Ian aims to please, so he gives them everything they want and more- every day and most of the day. It's a wonder Ian gets anything done! The minute he walks into his study (after having passionate sex with his wife all night) to do some work, Derek shows up with a bulging hard on and Ian's all over it like ants at a picnic. Ian is obsessed with Derek's body and Derek is obsessed with Ian's wonder penis.
Sophie is taking to sex very well and learning to trust Ian, but she's still not making progress in befriending Derek who is determined not to like her. Poor Derek keeps leaving the house when he's not having sex with Ian because he can't stand the thought of Ian making love to his wife. While Sophie is wondering and worrying about Derek not getting enough sex with Ian. She finally asks her husband if he's neglecting Derek sexually and Ian tells her about all the sex he and Derek have during the day. He then demonstrates on her body just how men have sex with other men- this turns her on very much and leaves her begging for more. She's happy to hear that Ian is serving Derek well and she soon begins fantasizing about watching Ian having sex with Derek. There is a LOT of sex going on in this book- I think every chapter was oozing with it.

While the book starts off with Ian and Derek already being lovers, it goes back in reflection and shows you how these two sexy men became lovers and fell so deeply in love with each other. This was wonderful because you saw them fall in love and saw them struggle with crossing that line to being male lovers when they've only had sex and desired women prior to that time during the war. They have a wonderful loving bond and are completely devoted to each other, while Ian still wanted more it wasn't because Derek was lacking as a partner, it was because Ian had such a strong desire for a full complete family and children fathered by both himself and Derek with one woman. It takes Derek nearly the whole book to come to terms with the marriage and his own desire and love for Sophie whom he was so jealous and terrified of even before he ever met her. It's like he got himself all worked up in his mind about her and how it couldn't work out and then he had a very hard time letting go of that seed he had planted in his own mind. Ian was patient, understanding and tried to be supportive of Derek while Derek dealt with his insecurities and Sophie was terrific. She was my favorite heroine in the entire series. Considering the brutality of her entire life, she was very compassionate and loving to both Ian and Derek and the perfect wife for these two sexy men.
Loved this book, and give it 5 out of 5 stars.

My Weekend Round-up

I've got a book review I am working on, and should have that up soon. My Amazon order never showed up on Saturday, but I didn't flip out because I was too engrossed in the 3rd "Brothers in Arms" book by Samantha Kane (a smokin' hot m/m, m/f, m/f/m). It was that good, that I didn't mind my next book order being a no show!
I've started another Lora Leigh menage book - will March Menage Month ever end?? LOL I don't know if was my tired brain or the book, but it seems a bit jumbled to me last night so I didn't get far. Hopefully today I can read several more chapters and figure out just who is who and what is what- if I don't, I'll be doomed before they get to the menage! :o)

Today I don't have hunks for you *ducks in case there's violence* - instead I decided to post some sexy couple photo's I've come across during my extensive hunk photo research. Which one is your favorite sexy couple? I like the first on best- love the jeans, no shirt and sexy tattoo. :o)

Some Sunday thoughts, humor and hunks

Happy Sunday! I watched "Northern Lights" last night, the Lifetime movie based on the book by Nora Roberts. I haven't read that book yet, so I can't compare it, but as a Lifetime movie I enjoyed it. I loved the dog during the love scene when clothes were flying. :o)

To everyone who watched "Twilight" last night, what did you think? I look forward to hearing thoughts on it as most I've heard (from everyone not a teen) is a love/hate view. Evening seeing it the second time I still don't like Kristen Stewart as Bella, the girl just can't act and how she landed that role is really beyond me.

I've got to get back to reading...hopefully I'll have a review for later today. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Sunday's hunks...

Sunday's slapstick...

A couple just got married and on the night of their honeymoon before passionate love, the wife tells the husband, "Please be gentile, I'm still a virgin." The husband being shocked, replied, "How's this possible? You've been married three times before." The wife responds, "Well, my first husband was a gynecologist and all he wanted to do was look at it. My second husband was a psychiatrist and all he wanted to do was talk about it. Finally, my third husband was a stamp collector and all he wanted to do was...oh, do I miss him!"

Ask any man what a woman's ultimate fantasy is and they will tell you, to have two men at once. According to a recent social logical study this is true, however most men do not realize that in this fantasy, one man is cooking, and the other is cleaning.

---
A man was driving down a quiet country lane when out into the road strayed a rooster. Whack! The rooster disappeared under the car in a cloud of feathers. Shaken, the man pulled over at the farmhouse and rang the doorbell. A farmer appeared. The man somewhat nervously said, "I think I killed your rooster, please allow me to replace him." "Suit yourself," the farmer replied, "the hens are round the back."

Two women walked into a department store, stopped at the perfume counter and picked up a sample bottle. One sprayed the perfume on her wrist and smelled it. "That's nice, isn't it?" Sharon said waving her arm under her friend's nose. "Yeah. What's it called?" "Viens a moi." "Viens a moi? What's that mean?" A clerk offered some help. "Viens a moi, ladies, is French for 'come to me.'" Sharon took another sniff. "That doesn't smell like come to me," she said, offering her arm to her friend again. "Does that smell like come to you?"

I just love weekends

Happy Saturday! I don't have a review ready yet, I am currently reading the 3rd book in the "Brothers in Arms" series "At Loves Command" by Samantha Kane that Barbara recommended to me and good heavens! Oh my do I need a fan and a tall glass of water to read this one!
Barbara you were NOT kidding about this being smokin' hot! This one makes your heart skip a beat! :o) I certainly hope Ms. Kane continues with this series because it's a good one if you like historical erotica menage stories (which I have discovered I do!). *grin*

Over on KristieJ's blog this week she had a post about ponderings. Well, I have always found myself pondering those Blogspot security words you have to type in to post a comment on peoples blogs. Aren't they interesting? Am I the only one who gets a kick out of those words? This week, I decided to write a few down that I thought were interesting, here they are...

vapiro, munfurro, mutio, hownessi, wingli, gadsorna, lizeress, grack. To me they seem like they need to mean something. To be more than gibberish Blogspot comes up with for security purposes. I think I should ask kids what those words mean and see what they come up with. Maybe I'll do that this weekend and post what they say. Then again, with all the books I've got to read where's the time to question kids?!

Oh and that reminds me, my next order from Amazon.com is due here TODAY! Woohoo!

And now for today's hunks...

----

And today is the day "Twilight" is released on DVD, so I will be buying that today and trying to stay away from the book section of the store (my TBR pile should be illegal and condemned as a hazardous area - should it fall on you, a body limb will be broken). I went to see "Twilight" on opening day (what a mad house that was!) and I was not impressed with it. I thought they did wonderful with keeping to the book and I thought Robert Pattinson was a great "Edward", but Kirsten Stewart...she can't act. I am sorry to say that while she LOOKS like "Bella", she didn't pull of the acting for Bella in my opinion and that was a disappointment to me.
Also, the make up used for the vampires...it looked like they made them dunk their faces in a vat of flour before doing their scenes. I thought that was ridiculous because while they were pale, they were not WHITE in the book and not so obviously vampires in the book as they were portrayed in the movie. A little shimmering face powder would have done the job nicely without making them look more like walking zombies rather than vampires who've learned to live among humans for hundreds of years.
But all that said, I am purchasing the DVD because I am a "Twilight" fan and what fan would I be if I didn't own the movie?! Plus, while others griped about the music, I LOVED the music and play the CD nearly every day even now months later. There were some great scenes in the movie like the baseball scene, the 'say it outloud' scene and of course the kiss. So tonight, I will be watching "Twilight" for the second time...maybe I will enjoy it more this time as I will be expecting the things I found wrong with it the first time.

I think Robert Pattinson makes a great Edward Cullen.
