"It Happened One Autumn" by Lisa Kleypas (Book #2- Wallflower Series)

Finished the second book in the Lisa Kleypas 'Wallflower' series titled "It Happened One Autumn" and I absolutely loved it! The romance story is about an arrogant, snobbish English Earl "Marcus", Lord Westcliff who happens to be a major hunk and the wallflower Lillian Bowman, an undisciplined blunt American hellion. Lillian can't keep all the English rules and manners straight and her outspokenness finds her in hot water over and over again. Lillian and Marcus are opposites, but that doesn't stop them from being drawn together. Marcus wants Lillian but he doesn't want to want her, so he tries to deny his feelings. Lillian thinks Marcus is an overbearing arrogant snob and she delights in doing things that irk him. Marcus is determined to marry a proper English lady, but he can't seem to leave Lillian alone and he refuses to let anyone else have her. Lillian knows she needs to find a husband, but it's Marcus who sets her on fire. This book has humor (Lillian getting foxed is hysterical), charm, steamy sex and is a great romance story. The end really leaves you hanging for the next book in the series and the story of the third 'Wallflower', Evie. I can't wait to read her story!
